Jack Ritchie has been drawn to construction since high school — sketching estate plans on graph paper long before he ever managed a jobsite. A Bakersfield native who fell in love with the Central Coast when he moved to San Luis Obispo for school, Jack attended Cal Poly SLO where he earned a degree in Construction Management with a minor in Real Estate Development. He put himself through school working as a handyman, competed in and won major-related competitions, and was recognized for leadership — the highest honor within his program.

During his time at Cal Poly, Jack interned with multiple luxury home builders across California, developing the ground-up, hands-on fluency that no classroom alone can teach. He holds a California General Contractor license and brings to every project the same conviction he had as a kid drawing dream homes: that every client deserves a property built exactly right.

Subcontractors have consistently sought Jack out on past projects, drawn to his genuine care for their success and the respect he extends to every person on site. Clients have called him family — something he counts among his proudest professional moments. What drives him is simple: he wants every client to enjoy the process as much as he enjoys building.

Jack also serves as a lecturer at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a role he embraced because he fell in love with helping students reach their fullest potential — and because he saw a gap in how the next generation of builders was being prepared for the realities of the industry. He believes that elevating the standard starts before anyone ever sets foot on a jobsite.

When he is not on a job or in the classroom, Jack is hunting, riding dirt bikes, staying active, or spending time with his family — the people who come first.
